Join us in the first of a three-part series where we profile three of the voices behind some of today’s popular military inspired accounts on Social Media. Today, we are speaking with Fredrik, the voice behind @gamble_swe and @warfare.inc.

In 2004 after his basic training Fredrik was appointed to a position in the Swedish Air Force as a Group Medic for a Specialist Military Unit. As a trained Assistant Nurse this was a natural path for him to follow, and he still functions today as a Combat Lifesaver and Assistant Emergency Nurse.

He is also actively involved with several organizations including the Military Police Association and National Guard. As a result of a recent hand injury he has been temporarily out of service but plans to return soon and assume additional duties as a Combat Lifesaver (CLS) Instructor.

Despite currently being unable to pursue his military commitments, Fredrik is by no means lying low. He is an active social media user and brand advocate. As an influencer and role model, he takes the responsibility of keeping his followers well informed very seriously. Fredrik’s stated goal is “to provide my followers with inspiration when it comes to gear and equipment, to grow the community and help great companies develop further brand awareness. “

Fredrik became familiar with our HEL-STAR® Lights via social media and understands the strategic advantage of utilizing them both in training and combat situations. He is an enthusiastic supporter of tactical gear that provides users with the ability to be successful in a variety of environments including close quarter or medical combat.

A committed family man with a loving wife, four beautiful children, and another one on the way (congratulations Fredrik) he seeks to ensure that despite his busy lifestyle family always comes first. With an unwavering desire to make the world a better place Fredrik displays an uncommon attitude towards reaching out to provide help and assistance to those who need it.

While he understands that he “can’t save everyone” this does not lessen his determination to inform and improve his community, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. As Fredrik says “if you want to move fast move along, but if you want to move far move together”
